ABOUT SOUNDSCAPE
SoundScape is a unique and established Dance event located at West Mills Playing Fields in the heart of Bishop Auckland. A idillic location surrounded by the river wear where for 11hrs there is nothing but music and good vibes! It’s has a 100ft blacked out Marque that hosts the main outdoor arena. Incredible sound system and light show and always the hottest line ups from the North East scene along with 1 or 2 Headline acts playing everything from Makina, UK Hardcore, Bounce and everything in between! Room 2 is indoors, which gives you plenty of scope to wander from place to place. Inside there is an array of Up and Coming talent playing Trance, Dance, Italian and Bounce music!! Room 3 is a smaller marquee, not playing music but full of bean bags and comfy seats for a total relaxing atmosphere! It has 2 bars so queuing for drinks isn’t a problem, and also a pop up drinks bar outside selling shots, spirits and cans. Entertainment varies year to year but these include rodeo bulls, total wipeout, bouncy castles, 360 video and photo booths, festival hair and makeup etc! Hot food is also available all day and, weather dependant ice pops, slushys and ice creams can all be purchased!!!
