ABOUT MINISTRY OF BOUNCE
This is our journey… From a 100-cap back room in a pub… to sold-out shows at Digital. Richy and Scotty started this night over 14 years ago in a place called The Metz, using whatever equipment they could get their hands on. When the owner asked them to make it a weekly thing… Ministry of Bounce was born. Those early nights quickly became something special. It started with the locals in Dunston, then people began travelling from all over, every single week — to the point they were having to turn people away. Not long after, The Metz closed its doors and was eventually demolished. They took a 10-year break from promoting… but one day decided to take a chance and bring MOB back in a small club in Newcastle. Back then, they never imagined where this journey would take them. Now they’re working alongside some of the biggest brands in bounce, in some of the best venues the North has to offer — selling out shows at Digital Newcastle and Riverside… and booking some of the biggest artists in the world, with the likes of Billy Gillies, Will Atkinson and David Rust, to name a few. And none of this would have been possible without you. They’re so grateful that you’ve been part of this journey… and that you’re still riding it with them. 🖤
