I’m Dave Reaks but go by the alias DISCO, a DJ with love of the energy of North East makina, with a deep pull toward vocal led music and darker trance atmospheres. My sound lives in the space between fast, euphoric rhythms and heavier, more intense beats, where emotion and energy hit at the same time. Vocals are a big part of that, whether they’re uplifting, haunting, or somewhere in the middle, sitting over hard, driving beats that are built for movement. North East makina is at the core of everything I do, but my sets naturally drift into darker trance territory, raw, immersive sounds. It’s about tension and release, atmosphere and impact, and creating a connection that runs deeper than just the drop. For me, it’s never just about playing tracks. It’s about building a mood, telling a story through sound, and leaving something with you that lingers long after the last tune fades out.
